Cool video. There are some major safety issues though. Cutting into spray cans with grinders and wearing cloth gloves with rotating tools are bad ideas. As a machinist, I can tell you that a rotating tool can and will snag a gloved hand. Spray cans being cut into by something that puts off showers of hot sparks is just not a good idea.

Is a good effort. Even though I don't like it because there are no instructions and on top of that the music....Should have let the sound of the engine be heard. That's what's wrong with all these videos made by indians, they fall short of creating something that will be liked by other people outside of India. You people over at Eros International better get a grip on what other people like before you start to spend millions of dollars in making movies no one outside of India is going to like.

Out of all the STUPID videos I've seen about demonstrations of practical physical principles, this one actually shows some gumption- you took ad lib materials and got the job done. Kudos to you, my friend. You made a working reciprocating steam engine and NOT some dumbass Hero Pile/Putt-Putt merry-go-round floating on a cork lilypad. Nice. You cheated on the bearings; I'd have rather seen "needles-in-sockets", but close enough.

@eigenman2571
4 жыл бұрын
Grinding/cutting open an empty can isn’t as dangerous as burning a can. Grinding an empty can (really empty, at atmospheric pressure) doesn’t really generate much heat and lets the gas out (gas stored maybe dangerous, but common sense will be there to stop you from cutting open a can of pesticide), and not all gas cans are flammable, they’re just explosive under heat

You may want to change to an grinding disc when switching from cutting to grinding. I hear the cutting discs are pretty fragile and can't take much sideways forces, whereas grinding discs are thicker precisely for that reason. Not that I have personal experience with the beast, lol.

Steam may push a piston and a piston to turn a wheel. A release valve is required, not directly blow to a wheel to make it turning.
does any see how his valves work because i see no reason for his exhaust valve to actuality work and from what i can tell there is no valve on the intake also why do we never see the engine from the fly weal sided ?
