when using csp and you have a decent pc rig, always export the timelapse before you close the software. I didn't do that and it made the canvas file size so big and the saving progress/opening the file is so slow. Just edit the clips so you can manually organize them chronologically. Super helpful! Thank you! I was desperately trying to figure out how to do this for Blender. The OBS settings were confusing! Important thing though!! I suggest the .MKV file format, because it can handle being interrupted, such as by a crash. Recording in MP4 runs the risk of losing the recording if it isn't stopped properly. :)

Glad that it was helpful to you! And yes, that the upside of mkv. The downsides are though that some video editors might not let you import the mkv files, and directly uploading on social media might also not work. So make sure beforehand that everything else down the line is compatible with mkv!

OBS does NOT make a timelapse for you. You'd still have to speed up the recording in a video editor. Just as I mentioned in the video above... EDIT: I have a tutorial video now that teaches you how to do exactly that with a free video editor. Check out the pinned comment. You have to have at least version 1.10.5 for the timelapse function of Clip Studio Paint. You can check your version under "Help -> Version Information". It doesn't auto-update, so you have to download the update manually from their website. Also: I am not a tech-support from CELSYS. I'm not even sponsored by them. Please don't expect me to solve all of your technical issues involving Clip Studio's timelapse function.

I don't exactly know what the "quick share" feature is. I am only familiar with the Windows Version of Clip Studio Paint. Normally exporting a png should be possible whether or not you are recording a timelapse. And if you deleted the recordings then you can't export a timelapse video anymore.

@@mbrilian2039 Lower the bitrate / increase the CQ level so that your files will be smaller. In exchange for video quality, that is. Just try out different values, quickly test them out and see what works best for you. And no, OBS cannot record a timelapse. It only records in real-time.
