A light nap ket made of 6 types of fabric. If the width of each fabric is 110 cm, you can do it with 35 cm each, so you can try it easily. I wanted to make it lighter, so I didn't put in a quilt core, just put a smooth lining on the lining and sew it back. There are no tedious steps like quilting, bias tape, or fluffing.
The patchwork pattern is called Sunshine & Shadow and the sewing method is unique. The interesting way to make it is to untie the sewn tanzaku once and then sew it again. When I actually try it, I sew it very quickly, so it's a lot of fun to sew.
In Japan, a long strip of cloth is called Tanzaku.
Tanzaku cut size 7 cm, seam allowance 7 mm
1 piece sewn size 5.5cm x 5.5cm
Nap ket sewn size approx. 104 x 126 cm
