Give it a shot. They're super easy but give you plenty of new options for displaying your figures. If you do make some I'd love to see your display when you get done if you are on Instagram post em up and find me, I'll check it out for sure.

Nice. I'll do this instead of paying for another bag of fragile plastic bits I'll have to keep track of.

Cool, I was at the park walking the dog and they were striping the wire holding the plants, asked if I could have it and it is slightly thicker then coat hangers so great for heavier figures i got about 10 feet. I also got about 50 hangers that were about to be binned at a flea market. I use a file for the end.

I always forget something really simple in my videos and the file is what I was trying to think of when I got to that part. Doh! But yeah, I use a file usually too. All I could think of at the time was a grinder. Oh well. Sounds like you're gonna have flight stands up the whazoo, nice score man!

Love how clean those stands look. I was always concerned that the home made stands could damage the figure. Great video

So long as you smooth the end to a nice round tip, you're ok, but you still run the risk of damaging your figs if you force the stand into the figure when you're posing, so you do need to be careful. Thx for checkin' out the video bro!

You could put a tiny bit of hot glue on the end of the coat hanger if you are worried about damage. LET IT DRY obviously hehe. It will not only be less "Slippery" than metal which will help keep figures from slipping or falling off the stand, PLUS it coats the metal to protect the figures paint. Just thought of that, But I am sure it would work great
