I am so grateful for the demo podcasts such as this. They are part of what sets LANDR apart from their peers.

That's nice, but the tutorial we all actually need is how to get a deal with a publisher.

Wonderul guide. But this is maybe not just an simple ambient music its more feel like electronic music or cinematic ambient. Anyway you have made a great job and wonderful composition for this video here :) Drums you make here are amazing.

I am a bit scared now. Will aliens jump from my speakers and eat my thorax? LANDR Studio has some great #samples and #plugins.

tnx for the demo, I write a fair amount of older type of ambient for my own cathartic reasons. But I'd like to make some of my tracks a bit more contemporary. Is there much call for this type music? I am thinking in terms of putting a couple albums together for documentaries or docu-dramas. Video looks like scenes from Blade runner

If its so easy to make how do we all possibly differentiate ourselves from others? I mean, a few layered dark pads + booms + undertones and quirky things. I can knock them out the park x 10 each day... is it really that easy? Yes... Its not how good you are its who you know... if we scaled the leaders of companies or nations on a skill level/ability level compared to the entire global population, of course they wouldnt be as skilled as joe bloggs. Its just that Joe Bloggs Mr composer in his bedroom doesnt know Mt X the film producer, he doesnt make the contacts or network Like HZ etc... SO really lets stop focusing on music skills for production music (caveat - you just have to be good as your craft thats it)... but start teaching kids at school to sell, to market, to talk in public, to network, to build a profile. BUT - if we did that and stopped teaching 18th century history and math we never use, kids would not become Minions and as we know, Monions are controllable and pay their taxes on time
