Excellent video! I see soo many survivors clones on steam but the vast majority fail to realize that its success wasnt just because of it being easy to play, it had rogue like elements, or the fact that the player could defeat countless hordes of enemies, as fun as that core loop is. Skinner Boxes galore. The entire game revolves around rewards (many of which are random) with casino like visuals and sounds. It was cleverly designed to be addictive.

Nicely edited video however I fundamentally disagree that this is a good idea. As game designers it's not our job to create an addiction that will take over peoples lives. Instead we should strive to create enjoyable experiences that are compelling enough for the players to spend time in them.

You should make another evolution survival with more complexity like enviroment, temperature, and more things you can evolve like fur and mass to help out I loved that video!
