Hi Shanna. I add the same collagen peptides in water for a couple of minutes and stir, then I add it into the smoothie and the consistency stays smooth. Thanks for sharing this😊

I love this! We found the same thing with that protein powder! Just add at the end and just mix it in. I need to try it was coconut water!

Yay, I'm so glad it's helpful Kara! I've found too that different coconut waters taste differently - so you may want to experiment with different brands ;)

Too bad I can’t have collagen. It gives me migraines. I just eat an AIP sausage with the smoothie for protein lol

Hi Shanna, love your videos. Will collegen mess with your thiroid test results. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Hypothyroiditis and my levels came out good so my doctor didn't prescribe me medicine because she said I dont need it. Do I need to consult with my doctor to take collagen?. Thanks for your videos

My favorite combo is banana, strawberries, mango,, fredh ginger, just a little coconut milk/cream, water snd collagen peptides. Soo good! (More like a trest smoothi for the afternoon). For breakfast I usually do a version of the morning smoothie you posted about last year 😊

What type of healthy fat would you use instead of avocado if you were to have a histamine intolerance?

I have heard conflicting statements regarding cruciferous vegetables and Hashimoto’s. I have heard the only way you can have them is cooked and then it will not affect your thyroid and others have said in small amounts raw it wouldn’t bother your thyroid at all. Can you clarify this. Thank u! Great videos and informative.

Thanks for sharing your recipe,, I like to keep it simple and clean, just water for the base for me :)... Half a large Avocado or whole medium, 1 banana, a cooked Beet Root, Tea Spoon of Raw Honey, and some cinnamon :) . For protein I snack on Pork Crunch, rinds or Cracking ;)

You're welcome! I like to use plain water sometimes too! I do like to use coconut water when I'm working out though for the added electrolytes. Thank you so much for sharing what you add to yours - sounds awesome!

I freeze my spinach too! And it is tough to get away from plastic for convenience sake. Especially if you're not feeling well!! I had put off doing Paleo on the Go because of all the waste involved. But a few years in, it was clear I wasn't going to stick to AIP without help. Best decision ever...huge turning point in my health. So, I think there is a time and place to be more waste friendly! Can you tell us about your water filter back there? Thanks!!

Thanks, Shanna! I know you’re a fan of Dr. Cole. I just ordered Intuitive Fasting. If that means what I think it does, should we still be having a breakfast? I get so confused. 🤷🏻♀️

Hi Trish! You're welcome. Yes, love Dr. Cole! So Intuitive Fasting can be a great option for some, and others do not do as well on it. I used to never feel well when fasting, and it took many months before I felt great fasting. So be sure to listen to your body above all else, and your intuition. Intermittent fasting can be as simply as starting with a 12 hour eating window or a 10 hour eating window...meaning no longer than 12 hours between your first meal of the day and your last meal of the day (or 10 hours). Intuitive Fasting has a guide, but be sure to listen to your body as you try it. ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Christina! You're welcome! You can just leave the bananas out. I leave them out most of the time ;)

I love to add raw zucchini, but you can also cut it up, steam it, and freeze it.
