Certainly didn't end up being 15 minutes for me 😁I enjoyed the tutorial greatly and ended up using different low poly models in my scene. Used a smiley face in place of a planet since blenderkit was not installing for me as an add on.

Is it possible to change the colours of the sky texture? Trying to go for a purple night desert aesthetic

Very nice. Great tutorial. I was able to duplicate everything, except the rendering because my comp is so old Blender won't recognize my graphics card anymore, it just stays grayed out. Of course my CPU couldn't help with the rendering, so. And unfortunately I didn't get to see Dune made last year because it only played in my city one day and the theater didn't tell anyone, which was a major bummer for me as I really wanted to see it. But I love your style. BTW, what is the best way to change the color of the sky to a deep purple?
@MediaWayUKLtd
Жыл бұрын
Hi Annie. You could use a HDRI to change the colour of the sky. You should be able to find some in Blenderkit.
I wound up discovering that blender has a built-in landscape generator that takes a hot minute to figure out

Got all the way to the end with the figure, but whenever I try to move the figure the skeleton (?) stays in place and the figure itself warps around it. I can't figure out how to move it all as one.

Make sure you're clicking on the skeleton (bones/armature) and not the skin.

@@MediaWayUKLtd It seems when I have only the skeleton selected, that's where it warps. Selecting the model itself does not move at all. I noticed that if I change it to rest position, I select the skeleton and move the model, but the skeleton stays in place while the model moves in it's t-pose state. Strange!
