I didn't cook mine.. beautiful red color.. I chopped the fresh seed& then put it in coffee grinder, poured it in a jar, & added pure water🫶❣️

I never toss out, can make tea, or grind into powder for your plant. Give back to the garden.

Its supposed to dry it for 3 then remove the out layed skin after that you can eat the way you like to

You could… soak the seed in water for a few days until roots develop… then transfer into a pot with soil.

WARNING FELLOWS!!!: I boiled several avocado seeds )(10-12) thinking it was a great idea: BEWARE my blood presssure went up!!! even when I religiously take my meds, so, please only use 1 seed or if you do what I did just one spoonful and ad water or juice
