Your videos are so wonderful. I am a elementary teacher and am in school to further my arts degree so I am constantly looking for new ways to recycle materials or use materials that I have lying around to make new things. You have given me so many new ideas for the upcoming year with your journal tutorial and this tutorial. Thank you so very much for uploading them!

Tah Dah! I have finished watching all of your vids and had to tell you that you have amazing ideas and I love how genuine you are - I love that! My only comment about your lovely videos is that I can't read fast enough to get everything you have written most times. But, with the magic of rewind I can go back and pick it up. I wish I had seen the ones about your travel kits before my trip that I'm on right now in my RV; I have boxes and bags of stuff to journal with. Your ideas are GENIUS!

Put them in the dryer for several sessions. The constant banging inside will tighten them up and make them into hard metal. You will then need to drill with bits for metal (not wood) to make the holes.

I LOVE your videos, your accent, and your bacground music/sounds! People who criticize should buy crafting books instead of watching videos...that way they don't interact with others in an obnoxious way. I read the post from a few weeks ago and good for you...your reply was spot on. Now onto the important stuff, I like the way you fast forward after you did a couple of beads and I like the words you print every so often. All of your videos are spectacular! Another fab way to glaze your beads is to roll them on a clear embossing ink pad and then sprinkle clear embossing powder on them and set with a heat gun - a couple of coats makes a fab glassy cover to them :)

Hey Isabella, yeah I think you could probably use nail polish, not sure about the longevity of it but I'd still give it a try if you have nothing else. Only thing I'd suggest putting lots on, but doing it in a couple of thin layers to stop it going gloopey/tacky. thanks for watching =)

you are one clever and creative girl :) You have a new fan. Third video I watched today, also many products you mentioned I already have in my store cupboard. Makes a nice change for me seeing videos by a Brit as all products mentioned are easy to get here. Also I am going to pay my local pound shop a visit tomorrow. I also at Christmas time never find my old foil and bye more lol. Must be a British thing hehehehe. I need, I think, to check out all your videos. A girl after my own heart who uses stuff that would be otherwise wasted. I love recycling, however I love it more if it saves me money. Thanks again jennibelle.

wow those actually look pretty cool to where I couldn't tell the beads on your bracelet and the journals were made of aluminum foil. I'm going to have to look up to see what PVA glue is and where to get it now. I have Glossy Accents and Diamond Glaze... they are expensive and I don't want to waste my time if they don't coat the foil enough - b/c I think I agree with you on what I'd be looking for, so far as sealant goes. GA or DG, either way they are good for paper beads, but... not aluminum foil beads... TFS!!

Being even more frugal - is it really necessary to paint both sides when you are only scrunching it up?
@marytramp5678

could you roll these lke you would a paper bead? perhaps after painting, scrunching it, then cutting it, then rolling it like a paper bead? I'm thinking that with different colors of paint, some silver showing through, and the texture of the crinkled foil would make for an interesting bead.

What a clever idea! I always hate throwing away foil, knowing I could get it clean again after it's been used. Hubby thinks that's a bit obsessive to wash it for the recycle been. But I love now having a fun use for washed/used foil. Question: Have you tried using resin? If so, how'd it go? Wondering 'cuz I don't have PVA or any of the other sealants suggested, but I do have resin. TFS! BTW, I like your music and love your reply to the member who pooh pooh'd your music.

This video is super helpful! Just noticed some of the youtube generated captions were off, and was wondering if you could correct them? at 0:44 seconds it says "tutorial on on with the rest of the questions recycle" but I know thats supposed to be one on, and christmas not questions. This will def be great for those who rely on captions to understand the videos! Thank you :)
