Good day Good video Thanks for posting. Is it possible to use oats instead of bran? Kind regards

Thanks for the video. The part I don't get is the drying. How is that better to keeping the bokashi in the bag if drying it out adds even more air to the mix?

Stupid question...how sterile should the zip-lock gallon bags be? If the bag is relatively clean I rinse and reuse. Would this be ok?

Does the sawdust actually work? How long does it take? 2-3 weeks only is enough? Wood shavings?

Correction, the green and blue bacteria or microbes you're seeing is variance of penicillin and maybe Trichoderma. Very beneficial for your soil and health. I make ferments for a company called build a soil in Colorado. I would love to send you a bottle of my Kiefer ferment called Yahwhey for you to try out. Please let me know if you're interested and how we can communicate.

What if you are using spent beer bran that is already moist?

That still works. I just omit the water from the recipe above and, if you intend to dry the bokashi, know that it will take longer to dry.
