The bitter after taste is a characteristic of this type of lemonade... It's supposed to be at least a bit bitter (that's the whole point of not peeling them beforehand) and here there's even a more classic version of this which doesn't use any condensed milk so the bitterness can shine. Still, if you dislike bitterness, the best way to avoid it getting too bitter is making small amounts per time and drinking it immediately, since it gets more and more bitter as time goes by
@Tomcat_Centauri

I love the bitterness of limes and lemon, but the aftertaste if you use entire limes is nasty. Here's my tip (takes more work) : Use a microplane or something to zest the limes, keep the green skin. Then use a good small knife to remove the pith, the white part between the green skin and the actual lime. It's that shit that's giving it the bitter taste. Remove it roughly, and then throw the limes and the zest in the blender.

I'm sorry to correct but you're not entirely right there! You see, in Spanish and Portuguese at least we call both of them Lemons, as long as they're sour, what you'd call a Sweet Lime is what we call 'Lima' or Lime, because they're really not tart at all, there is where we draw the line, generally. The way you distinguish, at least in Brazil, is we call most limes "Limão Caipira" and lemons "Limão siciliano", if you'd like to know!
