My instructor taught us the same thing, that was after the 'water tank' in the espresso machine broke and we have to send it to be fixed. We have no machine and have to use every available manual brewers in the class. Thank you, sir, you're an inspiration :)

I started with a mokka pot last xmas and advanced to an espresso machine. This makes me want to go back to the mokka pot because of how simple this is and it creates the best aroma throughout the house. Great tutorial, thank you.

I make latte this way but I use coconut or soy "milk". You'll always have a bunch of friends at home for some nice coffee 🤗 I never get tired of watching these videos

Great job. I used to use a mocha maker and an electric frother. I never thought I could have used my French press to make froth. I now have an espresso machine but I wish I knew what you tout us here when all I had was the mocha machine and French press. Great information.

Thank you for the video, it's really amazing. I'm having some problems with the milk. I Just can't get the correct texture for the cappuccino. I've tried many times with the french press but I always get too much bubbles and a lot of of foam, not cream. It's a terrible Cappuccino lol. But yours look really nice. Is there a hint for the texturing of the milk with the french press? It looks easy but I'm clearly doing something wrong. Thanks for the tutorials.

i found a old moka pot in the garage at my parents house no one new what it was. so i been playing with it for a few weeks for me i find that a coffee bean ground to a little bit below drip so still a little caurse works best for me. love this little pot makes a damn good coffee.

This is how I froth my milk at home. 😁If you look for used equipment, you can get this set up (Moka Pot + French Press) for as little as $10 and you can get near cafe-quality milk foam with a little practice.

Hey! Great videos! I just want to ask that when I followed this technique and heated the milk with steam to only 65C, the coffee turned out quite cold by the time I poured it. What to do about it?

Thanks a lot for this video! I've always done my coffee and cappuccino like that (well, apart from the artistic foam flower), but I'm Italian and I guess that makes half of the job :D Nowadays nobody is really using a moka any more, for what I see, replaced with capsule machines like Nespresso, and it's such a pity!

Thanks for video but not sure I understand the part just before pouring milk. You used 3 jugs. One to froth it (french press), but then why pour it in another jug and then pour the rest again in a third jug ? Can I pour the froth milk straight out from the french press into my coffee ? Thank you!

Every time I try this, the foam from the milk is the first thing that hits the coffee and starts spreading and makes the top look all white. But, when you do it, it seems more “creamy” than foamy, making it easier to pour and control. Any advice? Too many pumps in the French press perhaps?
