@@thatconcernedmom It's been good although I've added in a salad here and there. I was getting to where I couldn't walk because my legs and ankles were extremely stiff. I was hobbling around really. My legs hurt all the time. The pain has decreased by 95% I've lost 12.7lbs in a month.

If there is Salmonella, it's gonna be on the outside of the shell, not the inside, assuming the shell hasn't been comprised. As long as the eggs aren't compromised and you handle the eggs correctly when obtaining the yolk, you'll be fine.

You've probably fixed it by now, but for your mic, if you're filming using your phone, make sure you're on airplane mode for the the filming process. If it's a Bluetooth mic, just make sure you leave that on and that should help with your audio from crapping out. If you're using a proper camera, I recommend using the phone + mic to capture your audio only using a voice recorder, again using it on airplane. Then just add the audio track to your video.

I've made so many mistakes trying to record videos and slowly I'm learning. Yeah I've gone through a few different mics and now just using a Rode lav mic. Eventually I'll upgrade and do what you are recommending. Thanks for the suggestion and I do apologize for the vids that are are hard to listen to. Cheers!

Why are you adding the vinegar? Is that to make it taste more like miracle whip?
@Metqa
2 жыл бұрын
vinegar, being acidic, helps with the emulsification of the fats. Some people, non carnivore, use lemon juice. Kewpie brand mayo, popular in Japan is Very Lemony! Miracle Whip has High Fructose Corn Syrup added. A homemade mayo won't taste like Miracle whip unless you use a lot less oil and sweeten it a lot. the other ingredients it has are garlic, paprika. It doesn't' count as "mayo" because it doesn't have enough oil. It became a popular "mayo" substitute for people who were calorie counters or trying to lower their fat intake.

I just made my own prior to watching their video. I roasted a chicken and a pork shoulder. I was on keto and I bought a container of powdered egg yolk for a keto noodle recipe and didn't use it all so I used 3 heaping tablespoons of egg yolk powder. Added a little lemon juice instead of vinegar and added a bit of onion powder to for flavor. And a bit of mustard. It turned out fantastic. I dont think I will ever need to buy store bought. Mine isn't 100% carnivore but when I saw people make there own with cooked eggs I wondered if I could just use the fat off the meat I cooked. Also what a way to get more fat in your diet without throwing it away. I think you should just play with your ingredients a bit till you get something that you love the taste of. Especially if you thought store bought taste better. I was scared it would take like chicken but adding more egg to it made the flavor better.
