CARROT CAKE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
CAKE
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
3 cups grated carrots
1 cups chopped pecans
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
2. Add eggs and vegetable oil and mix well; add carrots and pecans.
3. Pour into round greased, floured pans.
4. Bake for approximately 45 minutes at 350°.
5. Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes.
6. Remove from pans and cool completely before frosting.
TRADITIONAL FROSTING
One (8 oz.) package cream of cheese
8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter
4 cups of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoons milk to thicken frosting, if needed.
Mix together until fluffy.
Add frosting to cake 🥮
Top it off with 2 chopped pecans Enjoy 🧁 😊
