This would look cool as a deceptive pice but would serve no purpose as armor and btw you can also use pop tabs to make chainmail but yet again cool decretive pice

So, the way jump rings are made is from coils, so when you buy them, there's the gap that she closed for the closed rings :)

No, should stay closed in most cases. But if you have a soldering kit you could use that for more durability

If you’re working with precious metals and/or selling pieces, it’s best to solder each ring shut Otherwise, I don’t when I’m just making stuff with copper. I’ve even seen some people selling without soldering. I’m pretty sure if you use just a half hard wire you’ll have trouble pulling them apart depending on the weave
