This looks delicious!!! For the ganache, should the butter be cold or room temperature? Thanks!

Can I freeze this cake with the ganache? Or better without 😊

That’s a good question! I think you should be able to freeze with the ganache. Let me know how it turns out. Enjoy! 😊

Do you keep the cake in the fridge after decorating it? Also, do you know how to make the white frosting they add to the slices of this cake in The Cheesecake Factory?
@JensDailyDish

You can definitely keep it in the refrigerator. As for the white frosting, I'm not sure, but if I find a copycat recipe, I'll be sure to post it!

This looks very similar to the birthday cakes I had as a child, except for the ganache. I would personally substitute strong coffee for the boiling water, just to add some depth of flavor.

Thanks for the feedback and glad it brought back birthday memories. Great idea per the coffee! I have definitely learned that coffee and chocolate are a match made in heaven. I’ll have to tinker with the recipe. 😊

Looks great. Thank you. Can you try to create the Tower Cake at Cheesecake Factory? Just had it last week and it was insanely amazing.

Thank you very much! Ooh! I love challenges. I have never had it, but will check it out and look to recreate it in the coming weeks. I see a mega-multi layered cake in my future. 😃

@@JensDailyDish Thank you. Linda Fudge Cake has been my ultimate fav but the Tower Truffle Cake has replaced the Linda Fudge as my favorite. Silky smooth but yet still very chocolaty.

Good to know! I’ll have to sacrifice myself and get a piece to try it 😋 and then figure out how to make it at home and share it with everyone 😃

Good question! I don’t know, but I’d guess 18-24. It depends how big your muffin pan is. Let me know how they turn out. Great idea!

Boiling hot water right?
@JensDailyDish

Yes indeed! Or at least super hot. It will dissolve and “bloom” the cocoa powder to bring out the flavor even more.
