Recipe & Ingredients
Naan Dough:
-2 Cup Flour
-1/2 Cup Luke Warm Milk
-1/2 Cup Lume Warm Water
-1-1/2 TSP Instant Yeasr
-1/2 TSP Salt
-1/2 TSP Sugar
-2 TBSP Oil
-1 Egg
In a bowl add -1/2 Cup Luke Warm Milk, 1/2 Cup Lume Warm Water, 1-1/2 TSP Instant Yeasr, 1/2 TSP Salt, 1/2 TSP Sugar and 1 egg. Mix this all well.
Leave it for 5 minutes so yeast can get active. Then add 2 Cups of flour and gently mix. Then knead the dough and while kneading add oil into it. Let the dough rest for 45-60 Minutes.
For Chicken Stuffing:
-250-300 gram Boneless Shredded Chicken
-1-1/2 TSP Salt
-1 TSP Oregano
-1 TSP Cumin Seeds
-1/2 TSP Chili Flakes
-1/2 TSP Black Pepper
-1/2 TSP Chaat Masala
-1 TSP Coriander Powder
-1 TSP Red Chili Powder
-1 TSP Garlic Paste
-1 TBSP Oil
-1/2 Cup Chopped Spring Onions
In a pan add oil, garlic paste and spring onions. Cook for a minute and all the above mentioned spices. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes and add some water so spices do not get burnt. Then add shredded chicken and cook for another minute. Your Stuffing is ready.
Now take your dough and divide into 4 equal pieces. Make round balls of dough. Fkatten each ball with hands gently into round shape and fill the dough with around shredded chicken filling. Once filled, lock it properly by hands and flatten it gently. With help of rolling pin gently roll the flattened stuffed naan. Once properly rolled and shaped, apply a mixture of (1 egg and some milk) on top of naan. Then sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
Bake these chicken naan in oven for 15 minutes at 200 temperature. After 15 minutes your chicken reshmi naan is ready, apply some butter on top and its ready to be served!
