Did you guys like this a little bit different style of me freely talking while showing things? (Before I used to speak over the recorded footage) Anyways I hope it was helpful to you guys, please share it with other dreamers as well! =)

Great video! You can also use a fog gadget with the noise strength, density, and noise scale maxed out and make it really huge, this will actually cast shadows on the ground like in breath of the wild. Although it doesn’t look as pretty as other methods imo

Thank you! I actually meant to mention fog clouds but I somehow forgot Dx very good pointing with the casting shadows!

Noice :D A little tip regarding the text displayer... if you edit the text, leave it empty, and hit "confirm," then it'll be tricked into thinking it has some text... it just happens to be empty. So it'll still render. Cool idea using that for clouds by the way!

Another fun technique to play with is using a thin layer of fog with high noise strength. Even casts shadows to some degree! And you can add a some fog to sculpt clouds and turn shadows off for the sculpt. The fog has a softer shadow to it, so this can give a nice soft cloud shadow moving across the ground. Or to add to the paintings, also. kzitem.info/news/bejne/xZuwwIB5jGJonIo

I had fog for clouds in my mind as well but somehow forgot, but adding it just for the shadows might be a really cool idea! :)

Man I've been thinking about getting back into this game, but I've fucked up my account so much. Really wish I could delete dreams, burn what needs to be burned. I was really dumb back then, I hate what past me did. You might remember me from some of your older videos, back when I thought I was going to be a popular creator or some shit, I was an idiot lmao. Glad to see you're doing well though.

Is it recommended to use move controllers for this technique?

I would say it's easier to draw and smear things with the move controllers but it's not necessary :)

Hi Sakku, I am trying to find out how to get the cloning behaviour to work like I see you demonstrate here around 07:08 mins. When I group 2 clouds and clone the objects, the new objects are not in the group. Also, if I select all my clouds in a group later on I cannot edit the fleck type and colours anymore etc. I just get limited group options. When I see you clone the clouds all copies neatly stay in a group, but you can also still edit fleck type etc for all clouds. Anyone care to explain what I am doing wrong? I am crunching my brain over it and the info is hard to find.

Hey there! So you know how to group things, it's good to have the clouds for example all on one group so I can edit all of them at the same time. For doing that you want to tweak into your group (L1 + X) and once you are in the group you press double X which selects all elements within that group and then you can press L1 + Square to go into the tweak menu and edit all of them at the same time :) (just make sure there are not groups within groups that won't work then)
