Here is a very delicious recipe on how to make a creamy and flavorful rice pudding, and if you want to turn it into a great rice pudding.
It's a kind of two in one, and rice is the main ingredient. I made a creamy, fragrant baked rice pudding, without eggs in the composition and without starch.
You might say that the recipe resembles Turkish rice pudding, called Sutlac, but I say it's better in this version.

- 180-200 gr rice;
- 200-300 ml cold water;
- 1 liter of milk;
- 100 gr sugar;
- a cinnamon stick;
- a vanilla pod or vanilla sugar, or vanilla essence/extract;
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt;
- grated zest from an organic orange;
The rice should be well cooked before putting it in the oven, so it doesn't feel hard, al dente. At the end, add a little butter for flavor if you want to consume it plain, like rice with milk, or spread butter on top if you bake it.
