Thank you so much Mercy for watching! Since these are homemade with nothing to extend shelf life, I would trust keeping them for 3 days. To keep them crispy. Store them in an airtight container. Good evening ma'am. Just came across your channel and I have subscribed too. Bit my question is, do you have to cook the potatoes before frying. Again can you spice it
@recipesandhospitalitywithclara
11 ай бұрын
Good evening to you! Thank you so much for subscribing. I sincerely appreciate this. For this recipe, you don't have to cook or boil the potatoes before frying. Because they are cut so thin, they'll cook through when you deep fry. I hope this helps.
@recipesandhospitalitywithclara

I don't usually spice. I suppose you can spice too if you'd like. I think you could sprinkle the spice when they are still hot once you've removed them from the cooking oil.

Hi Michael, I'm not quite sure why that's happening.. Might they be too thick? As I fry them and stir, I keep ensuring that once they are crispy, I remove them. Please don't give up. Keep trying a few each time until you could tell where the problem is.

@@fatnahswaleh1601 I'm also wondering... let me try to troubleshoot: Was the cooking oil hot enough? Did you put too many pieces into the oil? Hope the pieces were really thin.. Hope you maintained uniform heat that was hot enough throughout? Hope you allowed enough time for them to cook and get crispy? Hope these questions can help check what might have gone wrong..
