Sausages - 6, bratwurst (pork), cooked, scored
Canola oil - ½ cup
Tomato sauce
Tomato paste - 50 g
Curry powder - 1 tsp
Apple sauce - 50 g
Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
Balsamic vinegar - 1 tsp
Water - 50 g
Salt - ½ tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Curry powder
Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
Coriander seeds - ½ tsp
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Fennel seeds - ½ tsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Sugar - ½ tsp
Turmeric powder - 2 tsp

PERSONAL NOTE ✒️
Currywurst is a popular street food across Germany, especially in Berlin. It is essentially steamed, fried pork sausages, cut into bite-sized pieces, seasoned with a sauce based on tomato paste, and topped with curry powder. Absolutely delicious! This is the kind of "fast food" my family enjoys on weekends. I encourage you to try this tomato sauce (although you can certainly use ketchup if you feel lazy). I got the recipe for the sauce and curry mix from @mynameisandong - check his youtube channel; it's brilliant. I used pork bratwurst for the sausages, a type of German sausage commonly used to make currywurst. You can serve it with fries and mayo, as I did, or with potato salad. No matter how you serve it, currywurst is such a treat - 😋 Highly recommend!
