Thanks for posting this no one really talks about how to do this, I really want to have flavorful things in the freezer. I'm starting Lil here and there. I'm not a fan of freezer meals because I like to make things fresh, but I'm going to try. Freezer soups etc.. I learned alot from Acre homestead she is wonderful..Thank you for your effort Jen. Greatly appreciated luv from California.

I need to have a freezer restock. I started last week with some red sauce. Hoping to get some chili, spaghetti meat, and taco meat made and frozen this week. I've been out of things for too long. I suffer from chronic migraines so it really helps to have something good to eat at the ready that takes little to no effort or something hubby can take care of. Appreciate all of your tips and tricks. Now I'm motivated to get it done!

My husband goes to the lake for the whole summer, our son went for 9 days at first. I was trying to come up with quick meat, they bbq mostly. I bought lg. pk of chicken thighs, cooked them in the instant pot, once I had them all cooked I put the air fryer on and put bbq sauce on them. I sealed vac them. They came out great. I used chicken breasts, cut in strips and poured my teriyaki sauce on them and let them marinate for a few hours or over night. Cooked them then seal vac them. They turned out great to. I scramble fry about 9 lbs of beef at a time, put in lg zip lock bags. Very handy.!! 🇨🇦💕👍

Easiest thing for me to do is to prep proteins and putting those in the freezer in smaller portions for supper. So I’ll cook up 5 lbs of ground beef or make a large batch or salsa chicken and keep it in the freezer. Then it’s easy to pull out and make supper without committing yourself to a specific meal

You are so tempting me to get an Instant Pot. I have been debating it for a long time. Mabey for Christmas I will take the plunge, or see if a friend has one we can borrow for a bit to try.

I make my casserole and place it into a greased baking dish (the dish I p!an to cook it in ). Once frozen, I pop it out of the dish and place my frozen square of casserole into a ziploc. When ready to cook, pop into the original casserole dish to bake.

I had flashbacks, when you mentioned that you can't remember what's in the package. Many years ago, when my daughter and nephew came home from school and asked if they could collect labels. Well we didn't know what they were taking the labels off "everything" . So needless to say, when we were looking for a vegetable to cook. We would shake the can and would guess if it was corn on green beans. Thanks for sharing

When prepping meatloaf using kitchen aid mixer, what speed do you mix on and for how long? Do you cook your meatloaf before freezing or after?

Can I cook chicken thighs and then freeze them? I have a big package I took out, thawed on the counter. Cooked some. Popped it back in the fridge but I can’t use it all right now. What do I do? 😬🤦🏼♀️

Can you re-freeze meat… meaning, if I buy 10 pounds of chicken, freeze it, de thaw it, prepare the “freezer” meal menus, then freeze again? I heard that you can’t refreeze meat that has already been frozen…..educate me please, and thank you 😊
