Well done, the result comes out nice. I try another method that you can give thoughts to and it is less stressful.. If you have a food processor or a cake mixer with dough attachment then you are good to go. Starting from when you've washed the cubed yam, cook it then use the mixer or processor with the dough attachment to blend it . You will get great Iyan without breaking a sweat. That is the method I use and it comes out perfect every time. Try it and thank me later ;)

It looks really good. I think the secret to making a good pounded yam is adding little water when blending the fresh yam. Too much water will make the fufu to light and fluffy. Thanks for sharing.
