37:00 I would have expected you guys to also focus on the difference between Dynamic Mics, Condenser Mics and other parts. Most KZitemrs who are dialogue-focused prefer Dynamic mics since they are very resistant, cut background noise very efficiently, and makes your voice the sole focus. On the contrary, a condenser mic would be ideal for singers or dubbing artists recording in a studio condition, these mics protect a lot of the frequencies that dynamic mics cut out and give a very rich and clean sound, but it comes at the expense of it being a very sensitive piece of equipment and also it captures every piece of the background noise under the sun and unfortunately it also happens to be very cheap to produce so people who do not research properly end up buying this mic only to realize their audio is filled with background noises.
@ellisrovin
11 сағат бұрын
This is a great point, but with the prevalence of electret capsules in the creator space, making sure you’re using the right polar pattern is going to be more important (and cheaper) when it comes to cutting out background noise. When you’re looking to buy a mic for a specific purpose, dynamic vs condenser is super important, but if you’re a new creator starting off, it can be way more important to learn how the gear you already have works (and learn the best room in your house to record audio!).
