Great video! I have been inspired by some other KZitem channels and am on a vinegar making binge for the last week or so. On Sept. 07 l started 2 large 1.5 litre jars of mixed navel orange, grapefruit and mandarin orange peels into vinegar. On the 8th l started two 1.5 litre and two 1 litre jars of pear vinegar from pears in my back yard. l just chopped then into 6ths, peel, seeds and all and about 75 millilitres of sugar. On the 10 l started one 1.5 litre jar of raisin vinegar & one 1.5 litre jar of dried cranberry vinegar each using 375-ish millilitres of dried fruit in each jar and no sugar. l have a small crop of crab apple as well that will probably be turned into a couple of jars of vinegar in the next day or so too. Your video is very straight forward and to the point & is one of the better vinegar making videos l have seen in the last few days researching this subject. l am thinking of capturing some of the foam and making a sourdough starter from each of the various fruit's particular yeasts and other fauna and compare them & see how well they can make bread just for fun. Keep making these videos,eh? Best wishes for your future endeavours in the video making!

Great video. You can consume this citrus vinegar also? I would think it would be great in salad dressings, marinates or maybe just drink with water for health benefits too.

Great information! Indeed there are many videos out there on this information. You have a very clean and natural style that is much appreciated. Heidi from Rain Country youtube has excellent info on these topics. Her video on using vinegar for your hair is really good.

This video is a year old so you may have stopped looking at comments. In case, your wood utensil you used I notice had not been treated with mineral oil. My experience with wood is that coat them really well. Take several days coating let it soak in, wipe off. Repeat a day later. At least 3 days. They will be easier to clean. Last much longer. It is worth the time. 2 or 3 times each year will need to repeat.
