not sure if you've thought of this since making these videos but if you want to stop the rice from continuing to cook in the salt as much at the end, try pouring the whole lot sand and all, through the sieve into a metal bowl, that way the rice stays in the sieve and the salt goes through into the bowl... it's another step to then transfer the salt back into the pan again but at least then the rice stops cooking quicker and doesn't burn...

The Food Tech cereal sounds crunchier than either one of the other two. Hearing it clearly! Well done!😊

This is something I needed in my life thankyou! I don't know yer location but I'd guess Europe from the accent. Here in Canada CoCo Pops are corn balls like corn pops but coated in sugar. They call yers CoCo Krispies here but I prefer rice based breakfast cereal and natural is always better in food so thankyou again!

I think the aspect of yours having a more interesting taste, causing one to eat less, could be firmly seated in the positive column. I dare you to tackle Frosted Mini-Wheats.😁

I’m really enjoying watching your videos. I’m not a big cereal fan as I eat low carb, but my son loves to cook and enjoys cereal, so we’ll make some together. As an added bonus, your version is totally gluten free, unlike the Kellogg’s. An alternative to the coconut oil would be copha- not as healthy though.

Maybe avocado oil, and a little less of it. Also, youd have to do white rice to be using the same rice as the cereals. This is intetesting. Ive never had it like this. Ive becer had the store versions either. We just add cocoa, or cinnamon, or maple, or honey, etc, etc, to the milk in the bowl.

For the taste test, I would give it to homemade because I suspect the ingredients of the Kellogg would be less acceptable. It probably has high fructose corn syrup and/or tons of processed sugar. I would reduce the amount of sugar in the homemade. Too much sugar for me.

@@FoodTech101 thank you so much for the link. Now that I’m retired, I look for ways to save money. Packaged cereal is outrageously expensive. Thank you for presenting recipes that are better than store-bought brands that save me a ton of money. You are wonderful.
