@@sharpapex no, it was actually animated with a 3d animation software but I see why you would think that. 👌😅 It was the first 3d animated movie that had super realistic lighting, i can't remember what it was called though...🤔

I do not know if he mentioned it in his video, but if you try to scale down the lego model it will mess it up. You just need to keep it where it is

I can't seem to find denoising under the override option in view layer properties. Has it bee moved in the new version?Also Im really sorry for asking so many questions lately, but I noticed your image takes no time to render, whereas on my MacBook it takes forever. Do I need to purchase a GPU to help or is there another option to help with this process?

Yeah blender has changed a lot since. Just google it and you’ll find it. Also my images took very long to render that was a time lapse. They took around 20 minutes each. But a gpu does help significantly, I have a fairly strong gpu and it still takes a long time.

I saw that you also have the Minifigure pack. Do you know that you can hook it up with the Advanced add-on? Minifigures imported from zmbx files will automatically use the high def parts from the pack.

Thanks for the video. Is there a reason why you didn't scale the scene down to a realistic size? I wouldn't think the lights and textures would render properly at suck a large scale .

Add one if you haven’t already. Then check your side outliner and click on it. It will be extremely small so you will need to scale it up alot to be able to see it.

Nicely explained! Just one question, I tried the .obj export from Mecabricks and just simply imported the models as .obj in blender without the add-on no problem. So I'm wondering, is there any benefit to exporting as .zmbx and importing using the (Lite) add-on? I understand the Blender Advanced add-on gives you scratches and fingerprints and that adds a lot to realism but what about Blender Lite .zmbx compared to .obj? Is there a difference?

Render at Night yes there is a difference. The lite add on will give you a lego material. It will automatically create the proper materials for the plastic pieces, and will also give you good transparent materials for transparent pieces. Obj will simply give you the model and that’s it.

Yes. Go to view, viewpoint, top. Or use the axis gizmo thingy at the top right of the viewport.

u dont rlly have to use that roblox rig where u import ur texture on it u can just download the blender rbx importer and then download the blender import/export plugin in rbx studio and export ur roblox rig and go into blender, import the rig with the rbx importer u added and rebuild the rig, and done u got urself a roblox rig

Thanks so much for this tutorial man! So I'm using blender 2.81 but the materials in the node editor aren't completed, like I still need to connect all the image textures to the mb solid texture node and the render looks pretty bad for some reason. I know it's probably lack of skill on my part but yeah I'm just trying to figure out how to just straight up import it into blender and not have to mess with the node editor at all. Anyway any advice from anyone would be great. Thanks so much!
