I'm a few years late but I appreciate the content. This tutorial series was really informative and answered my question about how to get a good weather look on my armor, and just about anything else I want to paint. Thanks for the hard work.

Ideas for episodes, basically make a full suit as basic as you can get. Helmet, greaves, gauntlets, boots, soft parts, attachment methods. Then get to misc stuff like jet packs and weapons or gear. Loved the armor build can't wait for more.

@@leanonrunning if it's the Wizzard of flight Templates. The # in the file name is basically you're height. Like myself because Bodies are different you may need to print the templates on reg paper. Cut them out, start with you're collar plate tape them to you're body and take some pics. You'll be able to tell if they are too big or small for you.

Hi, I have a question about the armor plates before they're painted. So mine are cut out from the sintra, & I'm going to be forming them tomorrow at an armor party.(then I'm picking spraypaints next week) Do I sand the whole surface before doing my gray spraypaint primer? I saw in your Part 2 video you were sanding the edges too, what grit sandpaper do u recommend?
@StoneFistedProps
4 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply, yes give all you're Plates a light sanding with about 220 grit sandpaper. Then Whipe them down with 70_90% isopropyl alcohol and let dry. Then pay Primer a d Start the process

Really nice work and very informational. If I may ask, how would you attach the armor to a suit? Greetings from Germany, keep up the good work.
@StoneFistedProps
5 жыл бұрын
Thank You for the Compliment, As for Attachments My Prefered Method is Industrial Sticky Velcro (Hook side) on the Armor plates and Sew On (Loop/Soft) Side attached Via Sewing to Your Soft Parts. However, there are Other Methods such as magnets as well As Snaps. I find the Velcro a lot easier as it also allows you to reposition as well as Remove your Plates so that You can Wash them :-). I may do a Tutorial on the Different Methods In the near future if there is enough interest. I hope this was helpful.
