This recipe is DIVINE!!! These are made at a kooky Japanese hole in a wall restaurant down the street from me, and I spend $40 a week on them. Nasu Dengaku is to LIVE FOR!!!

I got to say that's a lot of extra flavoring. I can eat just plain broiled eggplant with salt and olive oil. Delicious.
