Its a long process but well worth it..u now have the 'Mother' mold which can be used multiple times. Thanku so much for another wonderful tutorial ❤ When making my skulls with paper mache I smeared vaseline on the mother mold and then covered it in cling film (What we call it in Australia 😊) or the sticky sandwich wrap. Worked ok but a lil slippery with the vaseline 😅😮😂❤

Utilizza solo polveri fini come borotalco, ecc.

yeah, sorry sister, your tutorials have been great but dont do that, you ruined the original. also the mold has cracks on it, either do this on harder material source or just use a home made silicone mold, although these days a silicone resin itself is not that expensive.

why wouldnt you create the seam side to side using the back of the head as the larger section of the 2 molds

Hi sorry for replying so late, you have a great question. The face has like a depth near the temples and gets bigger towards the back, and in the upper part of the head, after the forehead towards the back it tends to curve, which makes that when making a rigid mask type mold, the back part must always be the smallest part otherwise it would be stuck, but there's other aspects of the face structure to consider as well, as for the front part that would be the mask, the ears would not allow you to remove the mold, it would get stuck and the lower part of the jaw would also prevent you to remove the mask. It could be done, but the face must not have ears, and the mold shouldn't curve back on the jaw part neither the higher part of the scull, otherwise it will get stuck But this happens only with rigid molds, if you do it with silicone it would work and the mold marks would be on the sides as you say. Hope it helps ♥
