I checked on the price and it is $50 for the hour. After watching Evan's videos, it will be money well spent. Evan is to the point, yet seemingly already anticipating what questions you may have. IMO he is an honest person who will always take the high road and tell you like it really is. I look forward speaking with him.

A friend started selling outdated types of fabric, dried fish and shampoo from The Philippines to North America. He then started hiring people to publish news in many of the provinces in the islands of paradise. As time went on he added to his income streams. He worked up to over $15,000 USD in about five years. He is an American and his wife is Filipina. Needless to say he has done very well. His wife and four children enjoy the islands a great deal. Thanks for another grand video.

I was looking at some information about what all is required to be an expat vlogger in the Philippines especially when you start making an income such as registering or getting proper permits with the Bureau of Immigration or whatever agency that is required in order to pay taxes so that people don't get into trouble with the Philippine government. Maybe you could make a video of that because I never see anyone explaining any of those details on KZitem Evan.

Your advice on KZitem and Social Media Marketing was accurate. However, I think you understated the amount of hard work required to create and upload weekly content. It is true that a video may have an ongoing income stream but that stream is dependent on consistent content creation to generate eyeballs on your site. This is much more an active income stream than a passive income stream from investing.
@Paul-yk7ds
Жыл бұрын
KZitem is not totally passive, but there are passive aspects-some videos rank in search or get recommended by the YT algorithm and will continue to get views for years-and there is a huge compounding effect where it's easier to make money after you have more viewers. So, despite requiring ongoing work for optimal results, it really does have an effect where it snowballs, becomes way easier after it's established, and you continue to benefit from work you did years ago. So maybe semi-passive or partly passive.

The best and simplest way is buy a condo and rent it out. The second is do a hobby and find ways to earn from it. If it's a hobby, it's not work and it would come easy to you. For example, my hobby is fishing. A simple way to make money of it is to grill ''em and sell 'em. Something small that it would not require a business permit but good enough to pay for daily expenses outside of rent/housing and insurance.

I thought real estate will be part of the passive income to be discussed here. Have a condo unit in BGC and have it rented. That's passive income. Though you also need some money to acquire that property.

we are a n Expat-focused channel from South Korea, making videos that focuses on expats living worldwide. The problem is we are also teachers with full time jobs and all that responsibility. It's difficult to find time to produce and make content constantly. Personally, KZitem is the way I want to pivot to get out of teaching. Also, the pandemic didn't help with our channel model of visiting new countries to explore expat life of that country.

To answer your question, there are no barriers to establish a software company in the Philippines. Just register it either at DTI (Dept of Trade and Industry) for sole proprietorship or at SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) for a corporation. Of course you also need to register at BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) for tax purposes. Registering your business is not really a barrier. That is SOP in any country in the world.

Real estate and investing are better sources of passive income imo. Social media influencing, dropshipping and blogging aren’t as sustainable with AI poised to take over much of those niches. Only a few will succeed, many more will fail. But with real estate and finance, there will always be opportunities. The proof is in the number of millionaires made through RE and investing.

@@johnclark7973 there are already AI market prediction services but building passive interest income is just a matter of putting the money in and collecting dividends each month. Same with real estate and collecting rent each month. AI won’t replace the money you earn, just your ROI.

At the risk of being accused of 'bragging', here's my tip for your viewers, Evan: buy property before you come here and invest in a business and in medium-risk stocks thus ensuring an income stream. My wife and I bought property before relocating here. We bought two more properties and then we built a coffee-shop and sari-sari store (location - 100m from a hospital) as well as a number of bedsits that we rent out, at a reasonable rate, to nurses from said hospital. We have a large capital sum in the bank as well as income from our properties. That gives us 2.5-3 $USD income per month without having to do anything.

@@AndyG5435My apologies for the lengthy response but I feel I should explain in detail. My wife bought the first property while on a visit home - she is Filipina - from HK to show off her pogi son to the family. She viewed it and put down a deposit and I transferred the remainder from HK. It was about $USD 100, 000. We relocated and bought the second property on the same development for around the same price and then we bought another, slightly more expensive place, while it was still being built. We got a good deal because we paid in cash up front....and then Covid kicked in, which delayed construction. However, that has since been completed. This was after the store and the bedsits had been built but while we were building the coffee-shop. By chance, because of where we live - Rizal Province - property values have significantly increased over the past couple of years, as people working in Manila have realised that the commute is worth it since the environment is cleaner, healthier and cooler.

I also manage my personal portfolio of govt bonds, stocks, etfs etc, i get dividend & interest income over $4k/mo. These are fully passive income sources allowing me to travel anywhere. My channel is variety and I like it that way so no money for me. I was thinking of moving in with the squatters on my family's land and hoping they don't kill me which would be a great video haha. If you own property in the USA I would suggest getting a good property manager and rent out your place. Research the laws in your area and see if they are favorable to business. You will still need to check all your receipts and approve large expenses. Property values in America keep going up and selling will usually costs 6% in agent fees so don't sell unless the local government is anti-business or the streets are filled with.
