I'm so happy i stumbled on this video today and it really helpful. God bless you so Mr Charles and Tina. You did justice to some of my questions. I'm trying though not in a very big way like Mr Charles, I'm actually starting mine at home and just converted my intended building space to pens. Though i have a white coller job, i had to employ a professional farmer+my wife to oversee things in the farm while i return home weekends to fully handles the farm myself. Do you think this makes sense at all or i need a change of plans. Thank you

Wow! Thanks Mr. Charles & Tina 1. Can one use rice husk instead of saw dust? 2. Is it a good idea to have the one foot concrete foundation so I can use the IMO system and maintain the upper structure with the simple iron "walls" ? 3. Incase of the disease, and you isolate the pigs, do you need to remove and disinfect all the pens or only the affected one? Once again I appreciate your channel and wealth of information.

RICE HUSK WITH PARTICLE OF RICE MAKE RICE BRAIN, WHICH IS A MAJOR FOOD FOR THE PIGS, THEY WILL LOVE IT, IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO RICE HUSK IN YOUR AREA, THAT WILL BE VERY GOOD.

The principle lying here is they are mimic the system same as mini natural environment, where microorganism plays the main role. As we know microorganism degrade the organic substances and convert into simpler compound. So, those main organism required carbon and nitrogen to degrade the compound. Therefore..wood acts as carbon reservoir and also charcoal too..they supply carbon required by microorganism

Please help us more elaborate on how to prevent and cure the affected with African Swan Flue (ASF)?
