Thank you! You are the only person I've seen who compared whole/steel cut oats and rolled. Actually most recipes say NOT to use steel cut oats. I also appreciate your using the leftover pulp in a cereal dish instead of composting it!

Thanks for the info, I wondered if there was a way to use steel cut oats to make milk. I use cashews and it's great but oats is a more sustainable crop then cashews are. Do you have a recipe for chapati bread? Should mention in your video for chickpea yogurt that you can use the pulp in chapati bread and I can't figure out how incorporate it into a recipe, I've never made it before. Love your videos💗

@@PriyankaNJain I had the same question as Shivangi. As chai is a staple, we need an affordable homemade milk option that can be stored in fridge for at least a few days at a time and be handy when we want to make a cup of chai. Vegan diet should not mean having to increase our food budget, making life more complicated, or scouring stores for overpriced plant milks. Towards that end, Priyanka, I request you to explore more homemade oats milk, rice milk, soy milk, modifying recipes to give best results with chai, taste, smell, and texture.

I apologise for disagreeing about not soaking rolled oats. Respectfully, from what I've read, soaking the rolled oats removes phytates that inhibit mineral and nutrient absortion.
