I Love it, thanks for this idea, I've been wondering what to do with all my boxes and you have just let loose my creativity, briguettes for the firepit, or maybe paper-mache sculptures. Thank you so much for this video

That would make good toilet paper for when my dysfunctional family comes to visit. Great idea though. It's the first press that actually makes large bio logs that I've seen.

I like your set up other than the bottle jack. I would try the steel scissor jack with a electric powered drill for a faster process. I'll try building one tomorrow - thanks for sharing.

Do you push it to the limit to get all the water out? Or leave it damp? It seems like you could get more water out. Idk I’m not there.

WELL DONE! VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT! Though when I make one I intend to double up on it. There is room on your press to do two tubes side by side, pressing two tubes at once with the single Bottle Jack.

I would like to make one of these with multiple cylinders to make more at once. Probably weld it up with my powerarc welder to make it robust.

How long do you need to wait for the briquettes to dry out ready for the fire? Have you any vision of the briquettes burning, and if so how do they compare with other burning materials i.e. wood, coal briquettes or wood pellets?

Usually a couple of weeks, or until they are really hard.

Depends on the weight of your briquette and small briquettes take less time to dry.

Look at channel Totally Chilled. He builds a system, compares it to an Amazon bought one, shows you how to make the briquettes and then does a burn test vid to compare. 🤓👍🏴🔥

You really need to come up with a better system in a very good take you forever to make a bunch of brackets and why did you split them you have a fireplace probably be better to burn a complete one little ones not little ones need to think it out better for good effort

Why overcomplicate everything? Just buy a $20 press on amazon and forget about it. You compress it too much and and it's gonna a bitch to burn
