Delightful snowflake design and great instructions! I’m not a ‘purist’ quiller thus enjoy adding glittery rhinestones to my snowflakes. Like the sparkle on a tree❄️ and there are many tiny nail art crystals available on Amazon. Thank you for offering the layout grid free of charge. It helps on a retirement income!

I recently rediscoverd quilling and your site. I would just like to say Thankyou and, also, although I have watched quite a lot of tutorials I have found yours to be by far the easiest to follow. You explain things so well and actually show steps in great detail which, for a novice, is so helpful. Once again , many thanks for all your tutorials and I shall certainly continue watching. 😘

I am new to quilling, so this was EXTREMELY helpful. Are there any hints you can share about how you organize your papers? Thanks!!
@ThePaperyCraftery
2 жыл бұрын
I keep mine in the bags I buy them in and then in photo boxes organized by color, but I don't mind the crimp that gets in the paper. Some hang them in with butterfly clips so they can straighten out. I've also seen them in clear folders in binders. Do what ever works for you and the kind of paper you prefer.

Meredith, hello, I love your videos. This ? is not on snowflakes, but I don't know where to reach you. My question is can you do a video on quilling a Beta Fish?

I don't right now. Fish are on my long to-do list, but I haven't made up a pattern that I'm happy with yet.

Hello. I went on your website to get the grid. There are 4 gr4ids with patterns on them, but the blank grid with the center dot isn't there. I had to go to a graph paper site and print 1/2" graph paper.

I have a link to all the supplies I use in the description box of each video. I think the tweezers are the last link in that list for this one, but it should be marked. I hope that helps!

I am planned selling ornaments locally, do you have any suggestion or short video on how to pack the quilled ornaments? And may be packing other quiled art pieces
@ThePaperyCraftery
2 жыл бұрын
I don't have a video on that, but I can put it on the list 🙂. When I used to ship quilling, I would place it in a clear cellophane bag that sealed, then sandwich that between 2 thin pieces of cardboard. Then a layer of bubble wrap, then a bubble mailer. If you're selling in person, you may not need all that protection, but even placing your quilling between cardboard sheets will help a lot.

What millimeter paper are you using?
@ThePaperyCraftery
2 ай бұрын
Most of my projects use 1/8" or 3mm precut paper strips because they are the most common. But often it doesn't matter and it's what you're comfortable with. There are times when I say to use a specific size like 2mm or 5mm. Whatever the case, I leave links in the description box of each video for all the supplies that I use.

What glue do you use?
@ThePaperyCraftery
Ай бұрын
Mostly Elmer’s Glue-All. Some projects use Tacky Glue or Clear glue, but I’ll always mention what I use on each project and also link to the supplies in the description box for each video.

Hello, could you tell me where you can get that type of comb?
@ThePaperyCraftery

That specific comb is tricky to find, but it’s an onion holder so if you search for that, you should find some. I do have a direct link to a similar comb in the description box for that video.
