In this video, I'm making a classic Italian pasta dish, Pasta Aglio e Olio. This recipe is super simple and incredibly delicious, made with just a few ingredients: pasta, garlic (aglio), and olive oil (olio).
Ingredients:
150 g Spaghetti (I'm using pasta di Gragnano)
20 g fresh garlic
60 g extra virgin olive oil
Red pepper flakes
Fresh parsley, roughly chopped
20 g salt
Instructions:
Boil 2 liters of water with 20 grams of salt.
Cook the pasta for 7 minutes (2 minutes less than the package instructions for al dente).
In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until it just starts to brown.
Add a ladle (8oz) of pasta water to the garlic and olive oil, followed by red pepper flakes and chopped parsley.
Transfer the pasta to the sauce and mix well over high heat for 2 minutes, or until pasta is al dente.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Tips:
Use high-quality pasta for the best results.
Keep an eye on the garlic to ensure it doesn’t burn.
Adjust the red pepper flakes to your taste.
