Nothing beats a warm crepe with Nutella :) I also fill them with feta cheese and honey, may sound a bit weird but the taste is really good.

I'm soon gonna be 60 (forgot how old I was. I think I'm in denial😆) and I've never even tasted nutella. This nutella filled crepe makes me wanna try it. The strawberry looks pretty awesome too. I Love your channel. Audio & video quality is great. I Especially love the air fryer recipes, that's how I found you. I've been searching for AF recipes. My daughter bought me a nice - Instant air fryer, vortex, 6 in 1- for xmass last year that I have yet to use so far but thanks to you and other talented YT creators, I've learned so many tips & techniques, I'm confident I'll be eating more good food from the air fryer than my range top. So quick and easy and tbh, it just looks better. Living alone I need recipes for one person and I'm thinking the AF cooks so fast, it'll save time & money over heating up an electric burner on the stove top. Thanks so much for all the work you put into this channel. I appreciate you for that.

Hello, I’m about to try this recipe and I was just wondering: is the boiled water optional? Or do we need it for this recipe?
@SimplyHomeCooked

Hi :) The boiling water helps make these crepes a little more delicate. You can just replace it with hot water from the faucet (if it is safe to drink). Hope that helps :)

Plan to make roll crepes with fruit and cream inside for office party but will they "deflate" if I make the night before chilled in the fridge and serve the next day? 🤔
@SimplyHomeCooked
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Maria, I wouldn't recommend rolling them up and filling them the night before. They will definitely deflate :( You can cook the crepes ahead of time and keep them refrigerated until ready to fill.
@IslandGal96816

@@SimplyHomeCooked as I suspect it :( I guess I will change the filling with slices of banana and nutella spread then, so they will stay intact if I make them the night before to be served in the office the next day 😁

@@IslandGal96816 Nutella will work great! The banana slices might get brown by the time you serve them though 🙁 maybe fill them with Nutella, but bring a container of sliced fruit like bananas, strawberries, or blueberries as toppings people can add on top?

@@SimplyHomeCooked no can do. It's my office policy to share food individually wrapped for the New Year party (due to covid 😒) so my plan is to wrap up the crepe rolls, chill them in the fridge the night before and bring them to my office the next day 🙈🤞😁 What would be other alternative filling with nutella best? 🤔 I've done and shared with my co workers the crepe rolls with coconut flakes cooked in palm sugar, infused with pandanus leaves as the Indonesian version of crepe rolls... that I can serve the next day with no problem by individuals opt to eat it room temperature or reheat in microwave first. kzitem.info/news/bejne/o4ue352Ibnubg3Y

These are the dishes: Russian. It is called Pancakes. They were prepared for a long time by our ancestors. So it’s an outdated dish. The filling is different with cottage cheese and sour cream, berries, etc.

When you can, you should visit France. That's were the word crepes comes from. Can you prove the Russian people were already eating their "pancakes" before the French invented theirs?

You're good at making them, but please, also learn how to pronounce the word crêpes (say krep - no s)
@nobody2685
9 ай бұрын
She literally says it right multiple times in the video, only time she uses an “s” is when it’s plural. You are silly.
@Francesca_CactusBlossom
9 ай бұрын
@nobody2685 Wrong. She mispronounces that poor French word all the time! In Plural, most French words have an -s added to the end of the word, but this last -s is not pronounced. The "s" is muted. Crêpe (with an ê) is a French word. "ê" does not sound like "ee". Nonetheless, she literally says "c r e e p s" all the time. Plurals: although the usual way to make something plural in French (like English) is to add an s (chat→chats), the ending still isn't pronounced because of the rule about most final consonants (d, t, s, etc) not being pronounced. So both the singular word for chat (cat) and plural word chats (cats) sound exactly the same. With that being said, she's fairly good at cooking, but her French is really bad and she spreads ignorance and illiteracy. Generally, most English-speaking people say "pallet" instead of palette (another French word that refers to make up products) and/or uses "omlet" for "omelette".
