Flipping ingenious. I could use this in cake decorating. All I'd need is the bottle doing that, and a bag when in a pinch. You don't know how many times I've been in a pinch and needed this. If you used different sized flat head screw drivers you could make some with a flat opening for different kinds of cake decor.

Depends on the type or class of plastic used in the cap. Some plastics are capable of being reheated and reshaped many times. Some just turn into a puddle.

Good! But the structure of the plastic change with the heat.. There is a danger to release poison molecule in the beverage or other food when you use?
@doublebubleguy12

+Luigi Vicidomini No as long as you use a food grade bottle cap like whats used on a soda bottle or Gatorade, etc.

+SpydreX Official Do you happen to have a source on that? I believe you but I just want to make sure.
@doublebubleguy12
9 жыл бұрын
purplegill10 Well I can't really find anything like what he did online because its a new idea I guess you could say so there isn't much data on how safe it is. What comes to mind is if the cap is BPA-free and if it isn't then does the chemical leach out of the cap when heated? I can't find much on this although I haven't certainly read anyone being harmed for heated and reshaping plastic but would I use this for my baby? Well that another story on its own just in case...
@LuigiVicidomini
9 жыл бұрын
Yes but this is not only heated, this is melt.. I don't sure this is totally safe.. For glue and other product I think work well, but for the food maybe not good
@doublebubleguy12

Luigi Vicidomini Well heated and melted are the same in the context I was using them in, I think what you are referring to is burning.
