Puff pastry does take time to make, as it must rest in between folds, but it is well worth the effort. This recipe makes enough for an assortment of baked items. If just preparing one of these, any excess dough can be frozen for later use.
ingredients :
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 3 +1/4 Cup / 400 G
Butter - 14 + 2 Tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 Tsp
Sugar - 1/2 Tbsp
Salt - 3/4 Tsp

One of the Recipes which I have always thought we would get only in Indian bakeries is PUFFS!!. Since we moved to USA, it got into my todo lists whenever I fly back to India, to try every variety of Puffs. Though I got Puff pastry in USA, it does not satify Indian taste buds that has tasted Indian Puff before. Finally, made a perfect puff pastry at home which gives me the freedom to try all possible puffs at home. Prepared several puffs with this and all came out Just Delicious. Happy and proud to share this Recipe with my fellow friends.
