You can definitely use different sizes of quilling strips to give more detail to your projects. I have a number of tutorials where I use mostly 1/8” strips and add a few thinner strips to add finer elements or wider strips to add fringe.

What is the wedth of the paper you used??

For this one, I used 1/8" paper for the all of it, but for the dark red stamen, I cut that width in half so thinner paper could be used there. I do have all the tools and supplies linked in the description box for the video.
