help the particle system slows down my viewport to an unusable extent
@DESIGNANGLE
3 жыл бұрын
Hey, try switching off the particle system display in viewport once you have set the system and are satisfied with , this will help in navigating across the viewport smoothly. If this doesn’t help you can reduce the particle count to a relatively smaller number.

@DESIGNANGLE

The add-on for enabling shortcuts in Shader menu is the NNode-Wrangler add-on, and as for the texturing - Blender has an inbuilt texturing feature, hope you liked the video :)

I was so hoping for an actual CARPET tutorial, not a RUG tutorial. Carpets are fixed to the floor and fit the entire room; rugs are smaller and can be rolled up and moved. All the asset materials I find online seem to be RUGS not carpets....why is there so much confusion? :::sigh:::
@DESIGNANGLE
2 жыл бұрын
Sorry that you couldn't find something you were looking for. The confusion is mainly because of the language. In my region rug is not a commonly used term, people refer to something that can be rolled up as carpets ( see Persian carpets for reference ). Moreover, the term is used interchangeably in many cases. I hope it clears up the confusion? Anyway thanks for checking out the video and taking out the time to comment :)
