Stumbled upon this video after looking for some time and only seeing circuits that required an arduino, honestly the way you explain it and the practicality is greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work!

sure it works for 4 pin strips but not WS2812B 3 wire individualy adressable strips.... you need to send bits of data to them

That was one of the best electronic video, you explained it very well thanks ,I wanna make it and i have question can I use bd235 instead of bd139 for better current because you said it will heat up ?

Thanks for the lesson! you can tell if it comptitable with RGBW strip? what i need to do only add 1 more Potentiometer and 10K resistor or it will fail? and for 24v 2meter strip - it can be work? or what i need to change? I'll glad your answer!

A few question: 1. Can this be done without any transistors? 2. Would it be fine to substitute 50K potentiometers?

@@EEWave Tried and failed with this circuit before because I made a voltage regulating circuit with lm317 and it didn't work since they control positive output and my leds are like your strip so big fail XD Anyways, this circuit is it a currency regulator or a voltage regulator?
@EEWave
2 жыл бұрын
It is just a transistor circuit. Here we are controlling the base current with the potentiometer. By doing this, we can control the collector current.

Hi, it works fine except that I cant fully dim the blue one. Any ideas why? is it important on which of the three transistors the R, G and b connections are or is it interchangable?
