@@rajshreejangid7343 I had constipation for like 24 years since childhood, my ayurvedic doctor just asked me to correct 2 things. 1) get up on time early in the morning daily (i wake up at 6). 2) walk at least 5000 steps per day ( 10,000 would be even better). Walking daily helps a lot. I even practice yoga. You can try these, if you're already not following these, I hope it works for you too. another thing to keep in mind is the food that you intake. @@meenakshimeena569 i have been following the recipes to the dot and may be my tongue is more sensitive than yours. I could taste the same coconut and tomato being there persistent. I am not saying it is overpowering. But it is just and only there and nothing else. makes the sabjis monotonus after a while. Also, if your search on youtube there are other ways to sattvik vegetables, with using oil and whole spices, not powdered one. Some use ghee also which these guys don't follow because it causes violence in cows. But as per the upanishads and ved purans, ghee has always been used for sattvik food preparation. Even sadguru's isha ashram food has ghee. One more thing, doctors say that you should rotate the oil that you cook with. Say one month you used rice bran oil and the next month you use sunflower oil. But with grated coconut, you are just using one kind of fat. Also coconut has saturated fats and many studies are contradictory whether to use it or not.

Oxygen will reach your brain and you will see tremendous improvements. 2. 15 minutes of sun gazing every morning. Look at the morning sun (about 20 minutes after sunrise) continuously. You can blink your eyes in between. This will give energy to the cells in the brain. 3. 30 minutes of sunbathing everyday, wearing as little clothes as possible.

Hi Subha Jain, I tried cooking the recipe in your podcast and it turned out to be delicious and heavenly.. however I have some queries: 1. Can we have satvic meals 6 days a week and eat our regular meal on the 7th day. Will it have any adverse effects 2. How do we follow a satvic diet when we travel or are out of station and cannot cook food ourselves and have to frequent restaurants for the same 3. As per the sattvic diet the rule is to eat food within 3 to 4 hours but as a working woman it's not possible to consume food cooked within 3 to 4 hours since we have to cook food in the morning and leave home.. Please advise on the same. Will be highly grateful.🌞

You can have your choice of meals one day in a week. But make sure you sweat adequately to rid off toxins from your body. Try to fast once a week. Keep at least 12 hours of gap between dinner and breakfast. If you have to frequently go to restaurants then you must try to fast intermittently. If you are below 40 years of age then make sure you run 5km a day five times a week. If below 30 then 9 km run 5 times a week will help you a lot. If if you are in early twenties try to run 15 km 4 times a week and you can eat whatever you want. Always drink plenty of water.

1. Satvik food is all about bringing in positivity and lightness to your mind, body & senses. There are no adverse effects if you have one cheat day. In fact, it’s appreciable that you’re trying to make a positive change, as opposed to having wrong food combinations everyday. 2. Try to have fruits as much as possible. When you’re traveling, there’s a lot more exposure to the seasonal fruits and vegetables growing there. Of course it’s not possible to have fruits for every meal, instead you can try vegetarian options made without onions and garlic or food from vegan restaurants. Most of all, enjoy your holiday! You can make up for it once you’re back to the grind. 3. As a working mom, it is not easy to make frequent meals. In an ideal situation, food should be consumed as soon as it is prepared. But in today’s day and age, that’s not the most feasible option. There’s a beautiful guideline in Ayurveda, which states that any food consumed after it was kept overnight is unsuitable for the body. So, in your case, more than 3-4 hours works fine. Just try to use wholesome food items, freshly grown fruits and veggies, seasonal foods and try using milk from a local dairy, which doesn’t use hormones for obtaining the milk. There are many such cow sheds all over the country. The whole perspective is to do the best you can, given your circumstances. As long as you’re trying your best, you’ll be in good health :) -Vd.Riya
@renuseth3133

@@riyamohan968 hi ma'am, you mentioned that eating food kept overnight is not healthy. 1. What if the food is refrigerated or freezed to be preserved? 2. Thank you so much for your videos. I have always stayed away from medications only because both of my grandparents never took medications, they ate only fresh foods straight from the farm with some fish and meats in small portions until they died in their very old age. Interestingly, my dad's mother used to fry and cook with fats from the meat and this is what they call trans fat which science advises against. Well, trans fat did no harm to my grandmother. I saw my grandparent's lifestyles and knowing that they all died in their very old age not taking medication and having no diseases, I have been trying to live just like them. However, your videos make it simple to follow and remain in this modern generation. For example, I have been using vegetable oils found on the store shelf, and I have always used sugar. Is nice to see the substitutes here in your videos. I will start using coconut instead of vegetable oil and dates instead of sugar. My diet has never been fruit and vegetable only, I do eat fish and meat but of very small quality each time and not every day. Now that I have seen how your recommendations have changed so many lives, I will try to stay away from fish and meat for three months and see what happens. I love what you are doing and pray for more people to realize this truth and use it to help themselves.
