አብ ናይ ሎሚ መደብ፤ አሰራርሓ ስንብር ዓሳ ብክልተ ዓይነት መንገዲ ከርእየኩም እየ.
I have shown two methods of cooking for the recipe, I highly recommend the second method which is not only easier but also tastier, the following steps are for the second method
Ingredients and steps
Split chickpeas (1/2 cup)
Onion (1 & 1/2)
Tomatoes (1)
Garlic (2)
Red pepper (2 table spoons)
salt (1 tea spoon)
Spices Mix (1 table spoon)
cumin
coriander
turmeric
Ginger
Black pepper
1. Soak ½ cup of chickpeas in water for 1 hour
2. Rinse soaked chickpeas
3. Grind the chickpeas with 1 cup of water on a food processor
(The above 3 steps can be skipped if you have the chickpeas flour)
4. Now, boil two cups of water and put a cup of the boiled water on a separate container for later use.
5. Mix the chickpeas (flour, if you are using flour) with the 1 cup of boiled water in a pot
6. Cook the mix until it gets thick while strring
7. Now, add 1 table spoon of boiled water and let it cook for 30 minutes.
8. You should always stir it once in a while and add some more boiled water (1 table spoon at a time)
9. Once cooked, place it in a flat/wide container to cool it down, cover it with a plastic so it does not dry, follow video
10. When it has cooled, cut it in to pieces as shown in video
11. Now make a sauce
12. Cook the onions for 5 minutes with 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
13. Add garlic and cook for 3 minutes
14. Add 2 table spoon of red pepper and 1 table spoon of spices mix
15. Cook for 2 minutes, add water as needed
16. Cook for about 15 minutes
17. Now that the sauce is ready, mix with the cooked chickpeas
18. Its ready to serve, Enjoy!
