Awesome stuff! We manufacture molds similar to these :) You should definitely consider using a vibration table to reduce the amount of bubbles you get in the stone surface. If the table is too expensive, you can buy a vibration motor from us and build a table yourself :)

Also, you can buy some CSA from us which is an additive that allows you to demold much quicker and speed up your stone production. Use some superplasticizer to make the concrete more workable without having to add excess water which will make your concrete weak

Thanks you. Yeah a vibration table would be a good idea. I don’t have anywhere to put one tho. If I made more of these I may consider doing something like that. Maybe a small version. I made these for another project I did. Thanks for the advice

Glob. I do stone masonry as my profession. Natural stones. I cut them and make veneers from them. But its a time consuming and labouring work. I been thinking about move to cement molded veneers. How can we get in contact?

Whoa'! Make it easy on yourself by screeching cement straight-up on the wall then ripple plastic sheet texture it & carve it ! You'll save 2/3rds of your time!

Nice job! I think if you put some metal wires inside the cement while it sets in the mould, it'll make them stronger. And Id recommend using more water in the concrete,so thell gonna have a smoother surface. You did an amazing work anyway!! Thank you for the Idea! Cheers from Greece!

Thank you. I had to cut some of the bricks to fit in my project and I’d have exposed wires in some places if I did that. Which I didn’t want. but yes they would have been stronger. Problem with using more water is it takes longer to cure and makes the concrete weaker. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it

the molds are too rigid, especially on the ends, they need to be a little more malleable and the material is a little loose,(moale) și puse matrițele pe o bucata de pefeleu și mișcare Anainte și Anapoi că vibrare

😂 why do you say that? Did this almost 3 years ago and they’re holding up just fine. Even in -40c winter days.

@@bruedtv I said this because I see that the whole stone is full of pores and holes...Uneven and non-smooth... large seams. Perhaps it is suitable for home... but definitely not for sale. After about 6-7 years, it will begin to collapse... because the water will get into the pores and freeze there. because of this, the stone will begin to crumble.

I believe they will be just fine. Not selling them, they are on a fire table that I built and it gets covered in winter so no water can in there to freeze. I appreciate the comment though. Thanks for your feedback

@@radiolafm3356if you’re worried about the holes you can do the same as you would with woodwork.. use a filler and smooth it out. I don’t think many people are going to be going to your house to stand three feet from your wall to inspect it haha
