INGREDIENTS:
- Pork Meat (300 g)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Soy sauce (1 tablespoon)
- Egg (1 medium size)
- Wheat flour (40 g)
- Cornstarch (40 g)
Sweet and sour sauce:
- Vegetable oil (a splash)
- Clove garlic
- Water (150 ml)
- Ketchup (60 g)
- Sugar (1 tablespoon)
- Salt (a pinch)
- Rice vinegar (2 tablespoons)
- Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
- Cornstarch (1 teaspoon)
- Water (a splash, to dilute the cornstarch)
Today we see how to make Chinese-style sweet and sour pork, a recipe very easy to prepare at home. It's crispy outside, while tender and juicy inside; accompanied by a rich homemade sweet and sour sauce.
