My jerky shooter “caulk gun” has multiple nozzles of different shapes. I 😊use the smaller round nozzle and make jerky sticks (like Slim Jim Beef Sticks) in addition to flat jerky strips.

Used my jerky cannon ONE time! Spent more time loading the durn thing than i did squeezin' out jerky. It's been in the upper cabinet since 2006. Now i just use an extra tube that i crushed down the end and use the 5# vertical stuffer. The water is used to make the mix looser so it can go into a beefstick casing easier (if you're going that route).

Jeff I really enjoyed your video here making jerky, but I have an idea that you might like. I always use ground venison for my jerky but I only season it with Dale's seasoning; My dehydrator has 8 racks, it's a round one like yours but I purchased 4 extra racks to double the capacity. It takes about 4 lbs of venison to load too full capacity and I add 2/3 cup of Dales to the meat for seasoning. This also makes the meat much easier to load into the Jerky Cannon and apply on the racks! My grandkids love my jerky and I like mine sprinkled heavy with cayenne pepper so I add pepper to the four bottom trays and leave the top four with Dale's only! I have you in my prayers for quick healing and good luck from here on Hillabee creek!

dales is the bomb jerky seasoning all I use and I like adding red pepper flakes have not tried it with ground jerky I have marinated it for an hour and its still good
@glennhutchinson9049
7 ай бұрын
@@jerryschwier8998 using Dales in ground venison is different from marinating with it, you get the whole impact when mixing it directly into the ground meat so I recommend that you mix a smaller amount into your meat and then fry a small patty like you would when making sausage, that will allow you the ability to adjust before you obligate the whole batch! I hope you will try this and good luck!

I have had the privilege of getting to see and visit face to face with God all the way through my life beginning with before I was born, the last time I got to see him and visit with him he asked me to tell everyone that he is alive, he is real,and that he loves all of them, that includes you and yours .

It’s understandable for everyone to care and worry when someone injures their neck. Paralysis can be quite debilitating and life changing. I for one feel Mr. Barron will be just fine! Why? Because, if you go back and pay attention to his description of his fracture, he describes a wing like feature of the cervical vertebrae. This is called the spinal process. They will vary in length from C1 at the cranium, down to C7, where the thoracic vertebrae start, roughly at the trapezoid muscle s. This limits the backward movement of the head, such as when you look straight up. Apparently when he hit the ground, it was forehead first, bending the neck beyond the limits of these vertebrae fracturing the processes. The two other fractures were not described thus far, but it’s a good bet the atlas was involved. This is the topmost portion that holds the cranium. Chances of paralysis in either of these? 50/50. Not due to direct injury to the nerves but from swelling, causing pressure. Reduce swelling and you’re good. What harm can Mr. Barron be doing himself? Prolonging his recovery. Paralysis? Doubtful
