This is the best video on Rem flashcards. I spent half a day watching many videos and was confused, overwhelmed and bored. This video is precise and clear for absolute beginners. Thank you very much.

@@davesteckler How did you get all 5 feedback buttons at 1:48. I only see "forgotten" and "recalled with effort"

Whenever you have a flashcard in backwards direction, it matters if it is a descriptor or a concept. You would never have to guess the descriptor card in backwards direction.

True, but for strong recall it helps to sometimes practice both ways! Especially in language

@@davesteckler Yes, i use the feature a lot, but what i meant is, that remnote is programmed so that if you get a "backwards flashcard", it will skip the parent rem if it is a descriptor, until it reaches a concept card, and that is what you have to guess. Some people seem to think that the only difference between concept and descriptor is whether it is formatted in italic.

If I make a numbered list flashcard with say 5 numbers/parts of a sequence, will I always see those 5 cards together immediately after each other in that exact order(1-5). Or will they be shown separately/individually depending on how well I remember each specific individual number/part of the sequence out of 1-5 due to the spaced repetition ? Like say if I found point 1 'immediate' and point 4 'too soon', will they still be shown together when I'm studying my deck?

I believe it will appear as frequently as your least remembered part of the list (1-5). From my use I notice if I click Easily Recalled on part 1 of the list and forgotten for part 2 of the list, then the flashcard gets sent back to my queue immediately. Do you see this happening as well?

After making the two sided flash card you can click the collapse arrow to hide the underneath information!

@ Did you find a solution for it? the only way I got mine to show up is to make each sub-bullet point an extra multiline flashcard which is extremely time consuming...

Anki is great, I use it. This is (in my opinion) better for QUICKLY making spaced repetition flashcards when you need them. ANKI has more utility but takes more time to learn that this one feature.
