Good authentic roti. Well done. How about some curry goat to go with it on your next video?

@@BlackRuum its not something that all places serve. When you are in an area that caters less to people who eat authentic Jamaican style food and more to a flavor profile that can be easily marketed to the mainstream, you will not see it on the menu very often. I learned this only because the Jamaican restaurant i ate at in my hometown of md/dc the first thing I had was a chicken roti. But I couldn't find it at any of the cool spots downtown va beach area.

@@luciddreams6210 Now this is a sensible response. Thank you. In my experience Jamaicans do not tend to promote sell or make roti. It tends to be more of a Trinidadian, Guyanese etc type of food that they sell promote and make. Just never seen roti in a jamaican restaurant.

If it is thin enough, you put the roti in a warm towel or partridge paper and lightly crush it. Thats where the flakiness come from. That’s how my family do it.

If this is how Jamaican do roti, this is a whole lot of nonsense making it into a cone 🤦♂️. It's unnecessary and time-consuming. Roti originated from India, watch the Indians make it so quick and tasty way better. I can't imagine making a 100 and doing all that cone nonsense. That must take hours. Just a tip, it the cone does nothing it's just extra work. I'm an expert at making roti. Ps also you don't need to rest roti, you can start frying it straight away. Pan needs to be hot.
